About the Princess Alice Hospice
Princess Alice Hospice is a charity providing all patient care and support free of charge.
For more than 30 years, we have given outstanding, specialist end of life care to tens of thousands of adult patients, and support to their families and friends. The area we cover is across a large part of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex.
Today, at any one time, Hospice nurses, doctors and other specialist staff are looking after more than 800 people in need. The Hospice has a mission: to reach out to even more people by delivering outstanding care to those that need it. To enable us to do this we will rely on the commitment and support of our communities who help us raise vital funds.
With our innovative end of life care practices, our specialist doctors and nurses on our In-Patient Ward, help relieve pain and control our patients’ symptoms.
A patient’s time here can give their families and friends a break from the often exhausting task of caring for someone seriously ill. Even in the last stage of illness, we aim to give our patients the best possible quality of life, whilst providing their families and friends with the support they need..

We help relieve pain and control our patients’ symptoms with free end of life care and high quality nursing. Even in the last stage of illness, we aim to give all patients the best possible quality of life.
Through our education and research activities, we also work to improve end of life care across the UK and internationally.
Need For Fundraising & Donations
£9.9m is needed each year to provide vital and much needed services. With limited NHS fundraising, 74% of our income is generated by fundraising, retail operations, donations and legacies and it’s only the ongoing, generous support of our community and beyond that makes it possible to do our work.
