Live-in Dementia Care
Dementia is a life-changing condition, both for the person who has developed it and for their family.
At ENA Care Group we understand how worrying and confusing dementia can be for everyone affected, and we know that reliable information is vitally important in helping people to make informed decisions about their current or future care options.
Our dementia care philosophy is centred around personalised care and support to maximise independence, choice and control wherever possible.
We passionately believe in supporting the client and their family every step of the way as they learn to adapt to the effects of dementia.
Parkinson’s Home Care
Given that Parkinson’s is the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world, most of us will, at some point in our lives, either know someone living with it or be diagnosed ourselves. At ENA Care Group, we believe that living well with Parkinson’s is possible with the right support.
Getting the most out of every day is a key aspiration for many people living with Parkinson’s, and with support in adhering to a treatment plan and help to do and achieve the things they want to, the person’s life doesn’t need to be defined by their condition.
Alongside this, we believe passionately in supporting the whole family so that Parkinson’s can be faced together.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Home Care
Multiple sclerosis (MS) defies the assumption that only older people need caring support. Predominantly affecting people in mid-life, individuals living with multiple sclerosis need highly personalised, age-appropriate care services to ensure that they can live as well as possible.
At ENA Care Group we understand the challenges of living with multiple sclerosis, and provide specialist support for all stages of the condition to help people manage their symptoms effectively. We know how important it is for people to maintain control over their life and our live-in carers are sensitive to these needs — ensuring we provide care that accounts for the changing nature of MS.
After-Stroke Care at Home
For most people, having a stroke is obviously something they have never expected and therefore aren’t prepared for. As a result, it can plunge individuals and families into a world they know little about, with immense fear about how the person might recover and what their life will be like after a stroke.
At ENA Care Group, we’re here to support stroke survivors with the information, advice and care required once their inpatient hospital treatment is over. We know that the road to recuperation and recovery is a long and difficult one for many people, and the aim of our live-in stroke care service is to make rehabilitation the very best it can be.
End-of-Life Live-in Home Care
End-of-life care is one of the most difficult, and yet important, conversations any care provider can have with an individual and/or their family. We have one chance to make the end to a person’s life the best it can be, and take that responsibility very seriously indeed.
Our end-of-life care is entirely personalised and reflective of each client’s wishes. Our live-in carers provide both practical and emotional care and support that is, at all times, compassionate, flexible and focused on dignity and utmost respect.
Cerebral Palsy Home Care
As with all lifelong conditions, a diagnosis of cerebral palsy has huge implications for a child and their family. With a life expectancy similar to the general population in children with milder cerebral palsy, learning to live with and manage the condition is the goal most families aim for, while for those whose diagnosis is more severe, specialised professional support can be a lifeline.
At ENA Care Group, we support people of all ages with cerebral palsy to live their life to the full. With personalised care and support, we enable our clients to be as independent as possible, ensuring their symptoms are well-managed and that they can maximise their life experiences. We offer dignified and respectful support at all times and treat every person in our care like the individual they are.
Spinal Injury Care at Home
The nature of spinal cord injury means that, for many people, it is a sudden and often devastating diagnosis as a result of accident, infection or disease. The lengthy spell in hospital that many people experience can leave a lot of time for reflection, as the person adjusts to their injury, and concerns about how they will manage in the long-term.
At ENA Care Group, we’ve been providing spinal injury care since 1994, with a team of highly-experienced live-in carers, supported by registered nurses and a clinically-led team, ready to assist any person to return home safely and rebuild their life anew. We aim to make living with a spinal injury something that a person can do positively and with all the support they need to face new challenges.
Complex Care at Home
For people living with chronic illnesses and disabilities, where they have significant and ongoing healthcare requirements, finding a live-in care provider who can support their needs can mean the difference between continuing to live in their own home or having to spend long periods of time in hospitals or homes.
At ENA Care Group, we provide complex care through our experienced live-in carers, registered nurses and clinically-led team, all of whom have received extensive training to ensure they are able to meet our client’s needs. In addition to providing this expert care, we also support our clients to maintain control over their day-to-day life, to feel a sense of achievement and, ultimately, to feel fulfilled.

Testimonials
“It is clear how life has improved for me since I have had live-in care. My confidence and manipulative skills have improved enormously. My long-term regular carer deserves credit for this – she never takes over or offers to do things unless I ask her. For example, she would leave my make-up for a while before coming to put it away. While waiting, I would try to put the lids back on, and now I can do them all and put them back in the box, with subsequent improvement in other manipulative tasks.
In conclusion, thank you ENA and your carers – you have given me my life back.”
“I feel safe being cared for by the ENA staff. I have never had any concerns about being exploited or being in any way at harm.
I happily let my domiciliary carer walk around my home with no concerns – they are like family.”
