The Volunteer Recruitment Coffee Morning is an informal drop in where you can come by anytime between 10am and 12noon to meet staff and current volunteers and learn more about the roles available.
With our variety of opportunities, you are sure to find something to match your requirements and availability. Engaging with our visitors as Stewards, Tour Guides and Event Marshals or working behind the scenes as Archivists, Estates Volunteers and Administration.
By joining our volunteer programme you can make a real difference to the Museum, make new friends and share your skills and experience to help us preserve and interpret the heritage of Brooklands to our hundreds of weekly visitors
Entrance to the Museum to prospective volunteers is free and tours of the museum will be available.
Why I Volunteer – Peter Kearns
I have been a volunteer at Brooklands Museum for nearly a decade. Initially I just did one Saturday afternoon per fortnight, I now do much more. My first role was as a Steward. Stewards are the people you see in the exhibit areas, talking and listening to visitors and answering their questions. Now I do a much broader range of activities.
