RSPB local groups are a great way to meet friendly, like-minded people in your area while learning more about birds and wildlife.

The group is friendly and informal, it was established in 1974.

Can Non-Members Attend Local Group Meetings & Trips?

Members of the public are welcome to attend both indoor, local and regional outdoor meetings.

Longer trips are available to group members only.

RSPB North West Surrey Meetings

We hold regular indoor meetings between September and June (except December).

Outdoor meetings are held throughout the year both locally and further afield, including Western Europe.

Meeting are normally held on the 4th Thursday of each month September to June (except December) – please contact us for further information.

Meetings start at 7.45pm. Doors open at 7.15pm.

Cost Of Membership

RSPB Local Group membership for the current year is £12 for individuals or £20 for couples.

Meeting Visitors (Non Members)

Non-group members and Wildlife Explorer members are welcome to all events. Wildlife Explorer members free. Other visitors are asked to donate £3 towards the cost. Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult.

RSPB North West Surrey Group Events

Unless otherwise specified, you do not need to be a member of the RSPB (or the local group) to join us on our events, and birdwatching experience is not necessary.
