Created by early reading experts, Reading Fairy classes give children a strong foundation for learning to read and loving books.
Reading Fairy’s action-packed classes include: fun phonics and first word games, sensory and performance storytelling, original songs, classic nursey rhymes, and picture book time.
Lovable Reading Fairy characters engage and support your child as they develop crucial building blocks for learning to read.
Reading Fairy and her Friends
Each week children meet:
- Reading Fairy for storytelling and story making
- Phonic Fox for learning letter sounds and shapes
- Music Mouse for developing reading skills through rhymes and songs
- Chat Cat for encouraging talking, listening and concentration skills
- Book Bear for sharing picture books together
About Reading Fairy Weybridge Classes
‘I absolutely adore leading Reading Fairy Classes. Having worked in education for over 20 years I have had the privilege of teaching children in Early Years through to Year 8. I know, from experience, the importance of nurturing a love of reading, language and learning early on.
Each Reading Fairy class is carefully planned to engage children, allowing them to progress at their own pace and helping them to develop their social skills.
To ensure each child receives a rich learning experience our maximum class size is ten.
Classes also provide an opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers to socialise and have fun too!
It is wonderful to see the joy and excitement on the children’s faces as they are introduced to new themes, animals, objects and experiences.
Each class brings it own special moments and I am extremely fortunate to be able to share these as we bring stories to life in a truly magical way.’

Oatlands Weybridge on Mondays
Class times:
9:30 am – 10:10 am Toddler Tales 12 – 18 months plus
10:40 am – 11:20 am Story Stars 2 – 3 years
11:50 am – 12.30 pm Reading Recruits 3 – 5 years

Joining Reading Fairy Classes
Reading Fairy classes run throughout the year in school term times.
You can join at any time in a term if spaces are available.
Three-week trials and ‘drops ins’ are also available.
