About RBX Tennis
Brought to you by X Sport Coaching and RB Tennis. We offer world class tennis coaching with no membership fees at a guaranteed ratio of 6 students to one coach, all at Bannatyne Health Club and Spa.
Coaching Philosophy
Our philosophy is always geared around long term athlete development. From your first session you will be working from the four pillars of tennis, Technique, Tactics, Physical and Mental. We try and follow a ‘learn to hit, learn to play, learn to win’ philosophy, with emphasis on each element bespoke to our players age, ability and aspirations.
Our programme has been designed using Toni Nadal and RPT Methodology. This is the system used in Spanish tennis academies that have helped develop thousands of professional tennis players over the past 30 years, including Rafael Nadal.
Coaches at RBX Tennis
Our coaches are all LTA and RPT qualified, giving you a range of teaching techniques. We follow the Toni Nadal methodology that helped produced Rafael Nadal into one of the best players of all time.
Our coaches have previously worked and coached at Weybridge Tennis Academy, St George’s Hill LTC, Mini Minds, Wentworth and many other clubs and academies.

RBXU12 Academy
Players will continue to use different skills in order to compete in matches. Emphasis will switch from technique to tactical, mental and physical. RBXU14 Academy
Players will start to develop their own game-style based on their strengths and weaknesses. More work on being able to deal with the mental challenges of tennis, as well as the physical will continue and become more bespoke depending on players needs. Emphasis is on how to play rather than how to hit, with tactical being the key pillar for this period of development. Future goals will be discussed, ie Tour or University?

Emphasis will be on ‘how to win’. Players will be learning how to implement their game-style in order for them to win matches and will be developing their own strengths and learning how to neutralise any weaknesses.
