About Citizens Advice Elmbridge (West)
The Citizens Advice service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.
The service aims to provide the advice people need for the problems they face, and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
Older Peoples Advisory Service Weybridge
Weybridge Centre for the Community
Off Churchfield Road
Weybridge
Surrey
KT13 8DB
Monday and Friday: 09:30 – 12:00
The Older People’s Welfare Advisory Service can also arrange home visits for Weybridge residents, to take advice and help to where it is needed most by some of the town’s more vulnerable residents.
Clients are given help with filling in forms to apply for benefits like Attendance Allowance and Pension Credit; applying for Blue Badges; assistance with negotiating care packages; advice on how to make wills and arrange Power of Attorney and a whole host of other issues. Whilst people may often be quite capable, sometimes barriers such as access to computers and language issues can prevent or hamper people from dealing with the problems they face.
To contact Laura, call: 01932 840919 on Monday and Friday mornings, or contact Citizens Advice Elmbridge (West) on: 01932 248660.
