About Eleanor Watkins, Chef/Owner of Educated Cooking, Byfleet

In addition to her cookery school based in Byfleet, Eleanor Watkins caters for private parties in your home, within Surrey and London.

Her style of food is international and eclectic taking traditional European or American dishes and putting her own spin on them. The philosophy of Educated Cooking is to always put deliciousness at the forefront of every dish.

Eleanor comes from a unique and varied food background. She grew up in the United States and worked as a chef at award winning restaurants before moving to the U.K. six years ago to pursue an MSc in Food Science.

In addition to her MSc she holds a BSc in Nutrition and uses her scientific background to shape how she cooks food.

Eleanor is extremely passionate about the quality of food that she produces and wants your guests to remember the food served at your party for years to come. From show-stopping main courses to canapé bites, you can expect all the food to be delicious and meticulously planned for your event.

As a small local business, you can expect her unrivalled attention and a personal approach that other large caters cannot give you.

Educated Cooking has three example menus to browse through and inspire ideas for your next party.

There is a three course sit down menu for formal occasionsperfect for parties of 4-12.

Secondly, there is a buffet/family style menu that creates a more casual environment which is perfect for parties 4-30 people.

And lastly, there is a canape menu full of delicious bites of food that is perfect to start any meal, or to be the main food attraction for standing and social parties.

Most importantly, Eleanor loves to create bespoke menus that suit your theme or dietary restrictions.
