Elmbridge Food Festival at Painshill Park, Cobham Surrey in September
Save-the-date for the free Elmbridge Food Festival 21 and 22 September 2019.
This September residents and visitors will have the chance to sample food and drink from around the borough at the free to enter, Elmbridge Food Festival at Painshill Park in Cobham.
Taking place over two days, the Elmbridge Food Festival aims to showcase the very best culinary delights the area has to offer, as well as delighting visitors with music from local musicians and entertainment to keep the kids amused. There will also be a food and drink theatre with a varied selection of cooking demonstrations and all within the stunning surroundings of Painshill landscaped gardens in Cobham. Both Painshill and the Elmbridge Food Festival will be entirely free that weekend.
Councillor Christine Elmer, Portfolio Holder for Corporate and Community Affairs, is delighted Elmbridge Borough Council is bringing this free event to residents:
“On September 21 and 22 I would encourage all our residents to grab a picnic blanket and bring their friends and family to Painshill Park for this free celebration of Elmbridge food and drink businesses. We are determined to support our businesses and this is event is one of the many initiatives in place to ensure we continue to have a thriving economy in Elmbridge.”

We are very much looking forward to welcoming lots of local food and drink businesses from our community as well as offering people in the area the chance to sample and purchase tastes of Elmbridge whilst experiencing our amazing 18th century landscape, where the walk is the work of art”

The Elmbridge Food Festival is taking place at Painshill in Cobham over the weekend of 21-22 September. Join us for a host of local food and drink producers, live cookery demonstrations, musical performers and children’s entertainment.
Entry to the festival is free, with plenty to keep you and the family entertained for the whole day. Free parking will also be available at Painshill and the Leg O’Mutton field.
We’ll be revealing the full list of stalls and demonstrations in the lead up to the festival.

Opening times
Gates will open each day at 11am and close at 5pm.
Children’s entertainment
Elmbridge Borough Council’s Shout! activity squad will be on hand throughout with a range of arts and crafts activities.
Live demonstrations
Don’t miss the live cookery demonstrations from the professionals.
Music
Local bands and choirs will be performing throughout the festival. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the atmosphere. These include Earthly Voices Choir from Cobham.
Stalls
Our stalls will be showcasing talented food producers and restaurants from around the borough and beyond.
