Weybridge Lawn Tennis Club
Weybridge LTC is a warm and friendly tennis club for players of all standards and ages.
We offer plenty of opportunities for social and competitive tennis, with league-topping teams, well-supported mix-in sessions and coaching programmes for adults and juniors.
Facilities
Our club is one of Weybridge’s best kept secrets, with 5 courts (2 clay and 3 tarmac, all courts are floodlit) nestling peacefully in attractive sheltered grounds on the banks of the River Thames in Surrey.
We have a small clubhouse with balcony overlooking all the courts. There is no bar, but a couple of lovely riverside pubs are just a few paces away.
Balls are provided free of charge and there is also a floodlit practice wall in the grounds.
New Members Welcome
Prospective members are welcome to come down and have a look at the club at any time.
For a better experience, we invite you to plan a hosted visit with one of our Committee members who will show you around, introduce you to some other members and arrange for you to play a few sets of tennis at a mutually agreeable time.
Open Days
We have several open days each year. The next one is on Saturday 6th April 2019 from 1pm to 5pm, when we have our Grand Opening of the Artificial Clay Courts.
Prospective members are very welcome to turn up, play some tennis and enjoy free refreshments, without obligation.
These are normally very enjoyable and successful occasions, with opportunities to meet some members, including our coach, Adrian Joly, and chat about the club as well as play tennis.

We have a small clubhouse and 5 peaceful and attractive sheltered courts surrounded by trees.
Two courts have an excellent clay surface which allows play in all conditions.
The remaining three courts are tarmacadam.
All five courts are floodlit.
There is also a practice wall.
Balls are provided free of charge.
The club does not have a bar, but there are attractive pubs nearby which are frequently visited by our members.
Social Tennis Events
American Tournaments are held several times a year. These provide a chance to play tennis with a variety of partners and the rules are designed to balance out the stronger and weaker players so that everyone gets some comptitive games. They also feature excellent teas and a chance to socialise.
The club also holds Open Days (see above on this page).
7 Day Adult Mix in Sessions
The idea of a mix in session is to allow everyone to turn up and play. Many people who try to play casually at a public court do not know enough other players of a similar standard to make regualr play possible. With a mix-in at our club you can just come on your own (or with friends) and mix in with the other club members.
At the mix-in, players aim to make up a balanced four from those waiting.
