Lucy Sparkles & Friends

Lucy Sparkles & Friends provides outstanding drama, music and dance classes and parties for young children living in London, Surrey and Essex.

Our lessons are linked to the EYFS practice guidelines.

All of our teachers are trained musicians, dancers and actors with Enhanced DBS status and a passion for working with children in their early years.

Our Weybridge & other Surrey classes are run by Anna Sparkles

Anna Sparkles has been teaching children singing, drama and dance since 2007. She loves to see her students grow in confidence, develop creatively and sparkle with enjoyment!

Anna recently completed her training at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and will graduate with a BA (Hons) degree in Acting later this year. On Stage she has appeared in Henna Night (The Courtyard Theatre, London), and The Revenger’s Tragedy (The Rose Theatre, Kingston). Film credits include The Iron Lady.

Anna enjoys playing the keyboard and composing songs and feels lucky to have been exposed to the joys of music, dancing and acting from the age of three.

She takes pleasure in being able to share her passion for the performing arts through working for Lucy Sparkles.

Music Classes

Our music classes employ both Kodály and Dalcroze principles. We apply the same fun, thoughtful and tested structure to each weekly session in order to establish a comfortable and friendly environment for children.

We help them to develop their musical, physical, emotional and intellectual skills through live guitar or keyboard, a capella singing games, action songs, rhymes, parachute play, listening and moving to live and recorded music and by playing along on percussion instruments.

Dance Classes

Our creative dance classes will develop your children’s self-expression and creativity while improving their body awareness and fitness. Each 30-minute session follows EYFS guidelines and contains elements of ballet, jazz, creative and aerobic movement and tap.

We are very flexible and happy to come to your home, as well as to privately hired venues.

Our fantastic entertainment sessions run for 45 minutes, one hour or two hours and can include a live musician, singing games, rhymes, parachute play, choreographed dancing, face painting, children’s percussion, magic tricks, puppets, games, action songs, bubbles, ‘sparkly’ glitter tattoos, free personalised invitations, treats and, of course, lots of magic sparkles!
