Compassionate Neighbours – Volunteering Opportunity Provided By Princess Alice Hospice Esher
Could you make a difference in your local community? Can you spare an hour a week?
As a Compassionate Neighbour, you’ll offer kindness and company to someone who has a life limiting illness, or is elderly, frail and lonely.
You might visit and have a cup of tea, take them out, just sit and have a chat or guide them to access services that are likely to be of help to them.
What is new and different about Compassionate Neighbours is that the people you support would not be Princess Alice Hospice patients.
By becoming a Compassionate Neighbour you can help us to reach out and support to more people.
We will support you by providing training and ongoing support.
We are looking for volunteers all over our care area.
How To Apply
Please download and complete the application form on our website.
For further details about this role, or to request an application form by post, please contact the Volunteering Team on 01372 461856 or email volunteering@pah.org.uk.
Our specialist nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers, and bereavement volunteers offer care and support for you and your family in your own home or at our Hospice in Esher.
The video shows some of the great work that the hospice does and your support at one of our fundraising events (or by donations) goes towards helping people like Pippa.
