Weybridge Male Voice Choir present – A Concert of Remembrance and Celebration featuring The Kingdom Brass Ensemble

29th September 2018 at 8pm

The theme for this year’s Autumn Concert is ‘For the Fallen’. 2018 marks the centenary of the Armistice which ended World War 1, so the theme of the first half of the concert will be Remembrance of the more than nine million soldiers who lost their lives in the conflict. The choir will be joined by the Kingdom Brass Ensemble, a professional and versatile brass quintet with a military background.
Weybridge Male Voice Choir will be in Concert at Christ The Prince Of Peace Church, Portmore Way, Weybridge
For the second half, the choir will move to more joyous Celebration, performing more light-hearted pieces including both ‘Run’, which was very popular at the choir’s Spring Concert, and a first performance of the exciting ‘Africa’.

There will be a retiring collection at the end of the service with all donations coming directly to Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.
