About The Arts Society
The Arts Society (previously known as Decorative and Fine Art Society) has over 90,000 member worldwide – brought together through a shared curiosity for art and our artistic heritage. The Arts Society offers enjoyable opportunities to discover and support the arts of yesterday, today and tomorrow, wherever you are. Our events provide welcoming places – locally, nationally and globally – to hear excellent lecturers share their specialist knowledge about the arts.
The Arts Society Woking
Previously known as Woking DFAS, The Arts Society Woking meet on the 2nd Tuesday morning of the month (excluding July & August) at Normandy Village Hall, Manor Fruit Farm, Glaziers Lane, Normandy, Guildford Surrey GU3 2DT.
Talks begin at 10.30 am but doors open at 9.45 am for tea and coffee.
Visitors are welcome, subject to availability of space, and are invited to make a small donation towards our charitable activities.

Membership of The Arts Society Woking
The annual subscription fee is £50. It entitles members to:
- TALKS – 10 per year (apart from July and August). You can bring up to two guests for a small donation. Hear expert speakers share their specialist knowledge about the arts
- VISITS – we arrange quarterly outings to places of interest including one extended tour in the UK or Europe every year
- WALKS – we arrange hour long virtual walks via Zoom (in collaboration with The Arts Society – Weybridge)
- SPECIAL INTEREST DAYS – special study days are available via the West Surrey Area team
- SUPPORT FOR THE ARTS – we partner with Watts Gallery in Compton to support their Watts Academy with a focus on Young Arts
- LEARNING – you will receive a quarterly magazine from The Arts Society and (optional) monthly articles via e mail
