Taking a Tour of the Grosvenor Mansion in Weybridge
The Mansion Takes Entertainment to a New Level
No multi-million pound home would be complete without an indoor swimming pool, cinema room and staff quarters. The cinema room has plenty of space for entertainment, with enough room to accommodate everything, whether it is table tennis, gaming computers or even pinball machines.
Those who aren’t lucky enough to own this almost £15 million property can always play Betfair Pinball online instead, with daily free spins and the chance of winning the jackpot. The cinema and gaming room is also home to a bespoke circle bar, with a wine cellar at the rear of the property. There’s an open-plan kitchen and a family room which is home to a 3.7m slab of marble. This has been split in half, displaying an identical pattern that leads from the centre point. The prep kitchen, dining room and library are all on the ground floor and on the first floor, there are six bedrooms, a master suite and a dressing room. The house was developed by Charbydis, who excavated over 4,200 cubic meters of soil just to make room for all of the in-house facilities.
Accessible Garage and a Luxurious Pool
There is a large seating area which overlooks the pool at the front. Robert Walker, who works at Alexander James Interiors, said that they designed the wine cellar and the bespoke bar themselves. Their aim was to try and create an inviting lounge feel, by using rich metals and a very warm colour palette.
They also used various natural elements to add cosiness, while contributing to the convivial atmosphere. The semicircular wine room creates a functional area that is ideal for hosting events and it is fully air-conditioned. Wine collectors can rejoice in the fact that their prized bottles will be kept at a temperature that’s digitally controlled, with a sunken terrace for relaxing. Outside, there is space for a firepit next to the garage.
The garage was designed so that any car can get up and down the ramp, whether it is a huge Range Rover SUV or whether it is a car lower to the ground, such as a Ferrari. Within the home, there is also a laundry room and a plant room, completely dedicated to growing greenery for the garden. As the home is so big, it has also been fitted to ensure good WiFi connectivity across every room. Those who can afford the mansion will be able to take advantage of high speeds even when in the basement, making streaming the latest movies or football matches a breeze. With so many features, this mansion is certainly a property highlight for Weybridge.
