Cleves School Awarded Music Mark – High Quality Music Education For All
Congratulations to Music Teacher Johnny Kilhams & the children & staff at Cleves School!
A school that provides “high quality music education for all children”
Since starting at Cleves School back in 2014 we have completely transformed the music in the school.
Every child leaves having experienced playing six instruments for a whole term in just four years.
We now have a lower school and upper school choir with close to 100 children in each, an orchestra, a handbell group, a boomwhacker group and lots more!
Music really is at the forefront of the children’s education.
Most importantly though, the children will hopefully leave the school inspired to continue music in some way.

As well as teaching at Cleves School, Johnny Kilhams is also a composer and Musical Director of choirs, including Weybridge Male Voice Choir, Harmonia Voices and Walton Voices.

Light Up Elmbridge Festival
During lockdown, he has been running a virtual choir for Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre , Walton-on-Thames. This choir will be part of the Light Up Elmbridge Festival. The following are also part of this festival:
Johnny will be performing in a Candlelit Carol Concert on Friday 4th December, with 3 musically talented friends and participating in the Festival of Choirs on Saturday 5th December.
