About Me

Dear Client,

As an ex-dancer I have learnt the importance of posture and how it affects both you as a person and how other people see you. Posture bad habits are hard to change but not impossible. With the right mind set and the ability to ‘switch on’ your abdominal and back muscles, you can find yourself an inch taller, have more confidence and be far less lightly to suffer from back pain.

I hold qualifications in Sports Massage Therapy, Personal Training, St. John’s Neuromuscular Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Muscle Activation Techniques and Myofascial release.

I am passionate about my continued professional development and enjoy learning new perspectives and applying them to my work.

I believe by studying a range of complimentary techniques I can asses each client more thoroughly and have a better chance of finding the core reason for the problem areas. Our mind, body and spirit work as a whole and therefore my treatments will never treat a physical symptom in isolation and always consider that each element influences the other.

I have worked with the Women’s England rugby team, both in England and on tour. Chemmy Allcott and the British Ski team for the World Cup Season 2008-09 and World Champion canoeist Anna Hemmings.

My Clients range from serious athletes to general fitness enthusiasts to anyone who feels they need some TLC. I promise the same level of commitment to all.

I have no interest in keeping clients coming back again and again for the sake of earning money. It is my promise to be honest and refer you to another therapist when and if I feel I am not the best person to help.

Relaxation Massage

I have a beautiful and peaceful studio which is perfect to take some time out. A time to let go and allow yourself to relax. This is a unique treatment using elements of different styles including Thai, Swedish, Sports and Indian head massage. This massage is gentle, extremely relaxing and a real treat.

Pregnancy Massage

Come and experience 60 or 90mins relaxing on a body support cushion especially designed to safely support you with maximum comfort through your whole pregnancy.

Whether you just want to relax or if you prefer deeper tissue with a fully qualified therapist, then this new system is for you.

Personal Training

It’s all at the studio – Where we will develop a programme to suit your specific needs. I use Muscle Activation Techniques to find exactly where and how to train your body to achieve maximum results. Perfect for anyone who finds it difficult motivating themselves, looking to loose weight or just a space to train under the watchful eye of a professional.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

The body is its own greatest healer. This is a non invasive treatment where you will stay fully clothed. It can be deeply profound or at the very least unbelievably relaxing as it takes you into an almost meditative state. I listen to your system and using Cranial Sacral techniques bring it back into balance.

“Becky is a fantastic masseuse who kept me on the pitch during our tour in New Zealand, Nov 2005. Being selected to start in all our matches out in NZ takes a toll on the body and Becky made it possible for me to play without worrying about the physical aspect of my game. It was great to have Becky working with the squad as she is not only professionally on top of her game but is a great person to talk to and she fitted in perfectly with our medical team!’

Kim Shaylor
