Rapping Up The Solar System – Brooklands Museum Family Event For Children
Science Rapper and Presenter Jon Chase brings to Brooklands an exciting and innovative show loosely based on the CBBC programme “Space Hoppers”.
How to build a solar system using fruit, balloons and toilet roll!
Jon combines science, rhyme and education with live experiments and demonstrations with plenty of help from the young audience.
Jon has presented science raps on CBBC, BBC Learning and NI BBC Science Shorts as well as work for the Open University with poet Benjamin Zephaniah. He has also appeared at festivals and street performances around the country including Camp Bestival and produced several science rap videos which can be found on You Tube.
