Engaging Young People In Sport – Free Workshops by Active Surrey, working in partnership with Surrey Youth Focus

Surrey Youth Focus

Engaging young people Active Surrey, working in partnership with Surrey Youth Focus, are launching a series of free workshops for clubs about engaging young people in sport. Sports clubs are a great community, full of friendships, fun, dedication and a love of sport, but sometimes young people who could benefit the most from these positive places need a helping hand to get involved.

Active Surrey - Children's Swimming
Active Surrey - Kids Cycling

Based on the findings of research carried out by Surrey Youth Focus, the workshop will explore which young people are under-represented in sport, what they are looking for, and the small changes your club could introduce to make a difference to a young person near you, while at the same time reach new participants and open new funding opportunities.
