At Our meeting in February we discussed our Plans and Aims for 2018.

Meeting attendance 17 in attendance..Meeting Topics and aims for 2018

  1. Our membership was not wide and stood at eight members. We were financially secure with £2609 in the bank.
  2. Sponsorship for 2018 including Christmas Lights focus which would require around £5,000 to £10,000 depending on the scheme chosen was a key aim.
  3. Events were planned for 2018 Cake Off on May 5th, Cycle Ride event on 29th July with Flags, Christmas event on 1st December with Christmas Lights.
  4. The Streetscape scheme to develop the area from The Ship to Elm Grove was discussed.
  5. The Weybridge Parking review in conjunction with The Weybridge Society was very important.
  6. Dementia awareness working with St James Church was a priority.
  7. Working with Councillors to improve the Weybridge Environment for Businesses alongside residents was a key motivator for us.
  8. Christmas lights and sponsorship were very important aims.
  9. Promoting the Town as the place to Live, Work and Shop was key.
