Mountain Biking Fun For Kids.

Elmbridge Eagles Bike Club is the only Junior Bike Club in Elmbridge for young people aged between 6 and 16 years old.

The club was first launched to celebrate the Olympic Cycle Race coming through Elmbridge in 2012 and is now run independently by a committee of parents. We are almost exclusively a mountain bike club now.

Times:
Sessions take place every Saturday morning during school terms.
We currently run a single group of riders There are 2 groups, both meeting at 10am and we are always looking for parent volunteers to train and assist us with group rides.

Requirements:
Children must be able to ride a bike without stabilisers and turn and stop when necessary.

Cycling Equipment:
Children are expected to provide their own bike and cycle helmet.
Cycle helmets are essential for these sessions as children will be riding on tarmac/woodland terrain. Appropriate clothes/shoes/gloves should be worn.

Group Rides:
Our rides have included Ockham Common, Esher Common, The Lookout, Swinley, Holmbury Hill, Peaslake and , Leith Hill.

Booking / Turning Up:
Spaces are limited so book early – contact details on this page. Please get in touch to check if your children can join part-way through a group of sessions or if they need to have a space reserved for the next start date.

Cost:
Sessions cost £5 per 1.5 hours.
