With Guest Speaker The Rt. Rev. Christopher Herbert
He was the Archdeacon of Dorking 1990-1995 and was then appointed Bishop of St.Albans.
When he left the Diocese of Guildford his farewell service was held at St James’ Weybridge and our Christine Best composed an anthem especially for the occasion.
He entered the House of Lords in 1999 and has kindly agreed to speak of his experiences, particularly as a “new boy”.
Those who have heard him speak say we can expect an evening full of interest & laughter – as he has a very keen eye for the comical!
