Over £15,000 raised For White Lodge
Centre |
|
Great support on the night from Gemma Bissix, a
patron of White Lodge, who along with Bobby
Davro ran the evening of fun and entertainment
which included a raffle and auction on the
night. |
|
Local artists including Sam Wedgewood,
Cottonwood Blossom, Sophie Plummer and Party
Pianos donated their time, music and talent to
make the evening a night to remember. |
|
|
With family and friends of Red supporting this
local charity, the evening raised a grand total
of jut over £15,000. |
|
This included £2,900 from Dan Gamble (pictured
above), a friend and local young man, who Sky
Dived back in September raising much needed
funds for White Lodge. |
|
|

White Lodge Centre for disabled children and
young adults at Chertsey will be celebrating
their 50th Year in 2012. |

This years fundraising event is for
White Lodge Centre in Chertsey, a
local charity for disabled children
and young adults. |
|
It is 2 years since we held the last
event at Red, and as it was such a
success we felt it would be a great
opportunity to get everyone together
and raise much needed funds for this
worthwhile charity once again.
|
|
This time we will not be having a
Sit Down/Black Tie event but an
evening with many acts performing
and lots going on, with a glamorous
theme. |
|
There will be an auction and raffle
during the evening |

|
Soloist at London’s O2 Arena,
winning Surrey’s Got Talent, double
finalist of Open Mic and Britain
Does Variety. Sophie, who recently
turned 14 has an exciting year ahead
as she has been asked to sing at a
major ‘Help the Heroes’ charity
event and is booked to sing at
Wembley under the ‘Voice in a
Million’ banner. |

Bobby Davro |
|
Bobby is one of the country's
favourite comedians and is known for
his brilliant impressions. His
Saturday night series 'Bobby Davro
On The Box', 'Bobby's Sketch Pad',
and 'TV Weekly', were on ITV for 6
years. On the BBC he made 3 series,
'Public Enemy Number One', 'Rock
With Laughter' and 'Run The Risk'.
Bobby hosted Yorkshire TV's 'Winner
Takes All' for 65 programmes,
recorded the No 1 Hit by 'The
Proclaimers' for 'Comic Relief' with
Peter Kay and appeared as 'Vinnie
Monks' the lovable rogue in
'Eastenders'. |
