activities and is available for hire to the
general public for all types of events and
occasions.

Weybridge Hall can accommodate up to 195
people, during public events, with a
balcony area for 80 people. |
|
It is equipped with a stage
area, piano and PA system. |
|
There is a large
kitchen, and a committee room located upstairs. |
|
The Hall needs to be
cleared, cleaned and vacated by 11.30pm |

The Council has given the local community two
years to show that it really needs the Hall.
We have to use it, or lose it!

behind the Library which is
directly opposite the Hall. |

Save Weybridge Hall
Campaign
|
|
In the first half of 2011, this valuable
community facility was under threat of closure
by Elmbridge Borough Council and the
allaboutWeybridge website was heavily involved
in the campaign to Save Weybridge Hall. |
|
We are pleased that the efforts of the
campaigners appear to have secured the
continution of Weybridge Hall for the forseeable
future. |

Activities & Events

| Weybridge Hall has
been used for many events and activities over
recent years. A selection is listed below. There
was a period of uncertainty with the hall when
Elmbridge Borough Council was considering
shutting the hall and some activities were
relocated, so we need to check on current
activities and will update details soon. |

Tatiana Mercier Power Yoga on Tuesdays,
Weybridge Old Folks Club on Thursdays. |

This
hall is a large period building situated at one end of Weybridge's
fashionable high street. The imposing entrance of this former cinema
leads you into a large auditorium, equipped with its own stage and a
balcony with tiered seating. |
|
A well-equipped kitchen with a serving hatch
backs onto the main hall and is capable of
catering for large events, such as wedding
receptions or private parties. Adjacent to the
main hall is an upstairs committee room, ideal
for meetings, seminars or training sessions |
|
Good quality kitchen with six hob oven,
microwave, large fridge freezer, water heater, 20 trestle tables, 25
small tables, 200 chairs, stage, PA system, piano, crockery and
cutlery. |
