Poet's Corner Dancing Troop

At St George's College

In the late 1940's and early 1950's, the Poet's Corner Dance Troop was a popular activity with the Weybridge girls, especially residents of the Ham Moor Estate. The Dance troop was run by Mr & Mrs Ratcliffe of Tennyson Rd and the music for dancing was played on a squeeze box.

The picture was taken in the late 1940's at the annual Ham Moor Estate Sports Day  which was held at St George's College.
