WWAG Realising Recovery & Mental Wellbeing - Elmbridge, Walton on Thames

About WWAG
WWAG is a local registered charity supporting recovery, encouraging personal development and improving quality of life for people with mental health issues in the community.
These include self-defined problems, such as depression and anxiety to the more severe diagnosed mental health problems.
Early intervention is crucial in preventing further and more severe mental health issues in the future.

Who WWAG Helps
WWAG would like to help anyone in the community (and throughout Elmbridge), who feel as though they may need a little helping hand by people who are compassionate and understanding after having suffered their own mental health problems in the past.
Having recently won 3 years funding from Surrey County Council and Clinical Commissioning Groups, WWAG is now the lead provider of local mental health services for Elmbridge.

WWAG A.G.M. 2013
WWAG AGM

Our A.G.M. was held on 20th November. Here are some slides and photos from the day.
It was a day packed with inspirational speakers and live music, inspiration, hope, purpose, energy, enthusiasm & activity, fun, treats, gifts, smiles & laughter – not your typical A.G.M.
The Worshipful the Mayor of the Borough of Elmbridge, Councillor Michael & Mayoress Mary Bennison were also in attendance.

WWAG provides many events, some of which are art exhibitions which are arranged by our qualified art tutor using some of the work by WWAG’s art students.

We had a ‘Tree of Hope’ as our theme for the A.G.M. (picture in right column). This was made by some of WWAG’s art students and with the art tutor’s guidance and hard work.
Separate leaves were added by all present (and those absent) which included their own hopes, wishes, dreams or quotes. This was a great success and will be reused at various times of the year.
