Philosophy – Truth: a philosophical guide for the confused

What is scepticism? Is it healthy? How can truth be distinguished from falsity? This course will consider such questions (and others) from the ancient Greek world and in the 18th century ‘Age of Enlightenment’ – using ‘Truth: a guide for the perplexed’ by Simon Blackburn (Penguin 2006).
