Why not call us for a no-obligation consultation?*
*There is a fee for this consultation if you are outside a 20 mile
radius of our offices in Warfield, Berkshire. However this is refundable
against any design work you undertake with us in the future.
Design
Our portfolio isn’t limited to one particular style but includes a wide
range of designs, from contemporary spaces to country gardens with more
traditional planting. Most importantly Primaflora offer an enthusiastic
and impeccable service.
From the initial consultation with our design team, we can translate
your wishes in to a workable design. By using our wealth of expert
knowledge in landscaping and horticulture, the garden will be specially
tailored to meet your individual needs and budget.
Stage One - The Initial Concept
A member of our design team will visit your garden to discuss the
practical and aesthetic requirements, as well as your aspirations for
the space. There is a fee for this consultation if you are outside a 20
mile radius of our offices in Warfield, Berkshire. However this is
refundable against any design work you undertake with us in the future.
From the initial consultation we can accurately prepare a quote for the
design of your garden.
Stage Two - The Survey
Once the quote is accepted we will arrange for the garden to be surveyed
and measured. The survey plots the key boundaries, existing trees,
buildings and most importantly the levels of the ground.
Then a written design brief is drawn up for your approval. The brief is
fundamental to the whole design process as it ensures your requirements
are understood at an early stage. Once the brief has been agreed by you
we then proceed with designing the garden.
Stage Three - The Design
A concept plan is presented to you together with additional material
needed to help you visualise the design. This includes perspective
sketches of key elements of the design and material samples.
Primaflora aim to get the concept design correct from the beginning, so
ordinarily minor amendments are not charged. However, if alterations are
due to a change of mind on your part or unforeseen circumstances then
these will be charged for at our prevailing rate.
Stage Four - Planting Plans
Planting plans are an essential part of the design process and show the
species of plants used and their location within the garden. All our
planting schemes combine colour, texture and form beautifully interwoven
with structural planting of hedges, shrubs and trees.
Planting plans are completed once the concept design has been approved.
Build
Our build team pride themselves on their high level of technical
know-how, working together with you to achieve your dream garden at a
competitive price.
Primaflora are full members of the British Association of Landscape
Industries (BALI). We also build a variety of challenging and exciting
schemes for garden designers and landscape architects.
Stage One - Contract Documentation
Once the design has been agreed and you are completely happy, we can
then effectively price for the build of the garden. We will visit and
evaluate the garden so that a detailed tender document can be accurately
prepared. Included in this document is the Bill of Quantities where the
costs for the project are clearly set out. The tender document is
presented for your approval and once agreed a start date for the build
can be confirmed.
Primaflora work to a fixed price where possible.
Stage Two - The Build
Before work begins all landscaping material and plants are sourced by
Primaflora, along with large machinery and legal permissions, where
necessary.
A dedicated landscaping team and team leader are assigned for the
duration of the build. All our teams work to a superior standard and
quality finish.
Throughout the build of the garden we liaise with you on a regular
basis, keeping you informed of how the garden is progressing.
Stage Three - The Finished Garden
When the garden is completed Primaflora do a final check (snag list) of
the garden. Once all the snagging has been completed and you are happy
with the work, we hand it over for you to enjoy. We can also provide you
with a maintenance service, if required.
Maintain
Primaflora provide a well resourced, high quality garden maintenance
service with a range of flexible options to suit your every need. Our
full time teams of talented horticulturalists bring their expertise to a
broad range of projects and tasks.
With our dedicated management of the maintenance service, we provide
regular client liaison and supervision of the teams on site.
Primaflora offer a pro-active and professional service, resulting in
highly maintained and beautiful gardens.

Case Studies
Case Study 1: Datchet, Berkshire

Current Project - Sandhurst, Berkshire
Sloping garden, with level deck terrace, steps and sleeper retaining
walls
The existing sloping site was not a practical space for either
entertainment or relaxation. To overcome the steeply sloping ground four
level terraces have been designed incorporating an upper timber deck
area, two level lawn areas and a childrens play area. Retaining walls
and steps made from new railway sleepers retain the various level
terraces and provide safe and easy access throughout the garden. These
hard ladscaping elements will be softened with bold architectural
plantings
Current Project - St. Georges Hill
Weybridge Surrey
Large driveway and front garden
Traditional gravel driveway, with sandstone sett edging. 'Crossley' dry
stone walls create interest and act to retain soil from the surrounding
raised beds. A dramatic planting scheme of trees and hedges provide year
round interest and form, leading you along the drive to the front of the
property. Underplanting provides seasonal interest from spring to
autumn.
Current Project - Ascot
Timber deck seating area
'Ipe' hardwood deck under construction for alfresco dining outside 'Ciao
90' resteraunt in Ascot High Street, Berkshire.
