Warming
Up & Stretching |
|
Club instructors are trained to warm up the
muscles as it is essential that before carrying
out any padwork/sparring drills. |

Martial Arts Classes |

taught in a manner to encourage the ability,
technique and speed of the student at a pace
they are comfortable with; |

The aim is to progress fitness which in turn
increases stamina, flexibility, co-ordination
and endurance. |

This enables the student to carry out simple to
complex kicking and punching techniques. |

Protection, First Aid & Insurance |
|
All South East Academy instructors have been
checked for suitability for working with young
people via Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
|
|
They also have child protection training, have
up to date first aid certificates and are fully
insured to teach. |
|
|
|
|
Time is spent on warming up the muscle groups by
various exercises such as push ups, sit ups,
squats etc as these are also are used to measure
the fitness of the student in the grading system
as they progress in belts |
|
Time is also spent on stretching the muscle
groups to enable the student to perform dynamic
movements safely and effectively as well as
increasing flexibility. |
