| John Howe Turkeys is a small
family farm, which started producing
turkeys in 1976 with just 25 birds.
Over the last few years, we
have made major investments in
buildings and infrastructure and now
produce 8,500 for the Christmas
market. |
| Our whole ethos is simple; to
produce the very best turkey
possible. |
| To that end all of our Turkeys
ar free range, both white and
bronze, and are now free to roam
grass paddocks from 8 weeks old,
giving them a happy and natural
lifestyle. |
| They have free access to covered
yards where they have clean straw
bedding, food and water. |
| Our Turkeys are slow growing old
fashioned breeds, reared to full
maturity and are fed on a natural
cereal based diet, free from
antibiotics and growth promoters, to
give that succulent flavour. |
| Processed on the farm, therefore
negating the need for live
transport, they are all dry plucked
by hand and are hung for a minimum
of 7 days in a temperature
controlled room. |
| All Turkeys are subject to two
stages of quality control, to ensure
that your bird reaches you in
perfect condition. |
