& RAINBOW TRUST FUND RAISER |

The Shooting Star Children's Hospice |
|
Every parent knows how precious their
children are, and the thought of them becoming seriously
ill is something most of us can’t bear to contemplate. |
|
Thanks to the fund-raising of many
individuals & organisations over the past few years, we
now have a specialised children’s hospice locally, that
provides palliative, respite & terminal care for
children with life-limiting conditions, that makes this
very difficult time a little easier for both the
children & their families. |
|
The Shooting Star hospice in Hampton
has no government funding, & relies totally on voluntary
donations & fundraising to provide the £2.5 million it
needs each year to maintain it’s vital care service.

Rainbow Trust |
|
Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides practical and
emotional support to families who have a child with a
life threatening or terminal illness. They support 1,000
families each year. |
 |
|
Our two respite houses in Surrey and Northumberland
provide a break for the whole family, allowing them to
spend precious time together as a family. |
|
The Halloween Scavenger Hunt Event |
|
Climbing Frames UK, a family run
company specialising in quality wooden play systems, is
turning its Weybridge site in the grounds of Wyevale
garden centre, into a spooky Halloween themed scavenger
hunt. |
|
On Saturday 25th October, children
between the ages of zero & 11, are invited to join the
festivities around the Climbing Frames UK site. The
entrance fee of £1 per child will go directly to
Shooting Star, & every child will receive a goody bag,
with a prize draw for those who collect all the hidden
items. There will also be the opportunity to “dress the
witches & vampires”, and enter a pumpkin carving
contest.

The four day event will run from 9am
to 4pm at the site in New Haw Road, Addlestone,
Weybridge & you can reserve a place for your child by
