Q: |
What times are you available for a diet & lifestyle
consultation? |
A: |
My timetable is fairly flexible and we
should be able to find a time that is convenient for you -
whether it's in the morning, afternoon or early evening. |
Q: |
Will I need to pay you on the day of the consultation? |
A: |
Yes please, I accept cheques (payable to Lee-Anne Wedgwood)
or cash is fine too. |
Q: |
How long will it take for me to find relief from my
symptoms? |
A: |
This depends upon the condition you have
and how long it takes for the body to heal itself. Generally
speaking, I would expect to see an improvement after 3-4
weeks of a new dietary regime (we would then review your
progress at a follow-up consultation in order to make any
fine-adjustments). |
Q: |
What is your cancellation notice? |
A: |
Please allow at least 24 hours notice if
you wish to cancel an appointment. Otherwise, I will need to
charge the full appointment fee. |
Q: |
Can you prescribe nutritional supplements? |
A: |
As a dietary therapist, my focus is on
food, however I may suggest multivitamin supplements,
vitamin C and a probiotic (see What products do you
recommend?) |
Q: |
What happens if I don't see any improvement in my
condition? |
A: |
Some conditions have been caused by many
years of nutrient imbalances - so some conditions may take a
longer to heal than others. However, the body is an amazing
natural healer and 'what you put in, comes out'. Give your
body a chance to heal itself; be good to yourself. Also it
may take us a few consultations as we work together, to find
the perfect system that works for you and your lifestyle. |
