Concert Summary
Weybridge Male Voice Choir celebrates its 90th Anniversary with a concert compered by Ed ('Stewpot') Stewart, and featuring the young mezzo soprano Kathryn McAdam. Retiring collection will be for Sam Beare Hospice
Each decade from 1921 will be celebrated in song, and we are delighted that Ed Stewart will be the compere. Kathryn McAdam wowed the choir and audience when she was guest soloist in Sheffield Cathedral in 2010 when Weybridge Male Voice Choir helped the Worrall Male Voice Choir celebrate their 40th Anniversary.

Over the last few years The Sam Beare Hospice has struggled to raise an ever increasing annual budget, which is now approaching £2m per annum.
Last year the unit had to close the day care unit which played an extremely important part in the care and well being of terminally ill patients and their families, giving them respite and the much needed support of the highly trained and caring professional staff.
Through many fund raising events, donations and money raised in the local Sam Beare Hospice shops the day care service has been reinstated for one day each week. This is a step in the right direction but not nearly enough.
