The Storage Pod on Avro Way, Brooklands,
is hosting a Charity Car Boot Sale
on Sunday 12 June from 10am-1pm. In addition to cars selling a wide
selection of items, there will be a bouncy
castle, games, food and cake stalls.
All proceeds from the event will be
donated to New Haw Community Junior School.
Lionel Smith, managing director of The
Storage Pod comments, “We’ve been looking
for a way to use our space to help the local
community.

number of people are keen to sell items
which they no longer have space for or need
to keep at home.

Healthy Walks are a round
the year programme of walks that provide an
enjoyable way to improve your health and fitness.
Participants are encouraged to walk briskly. For
health benefits you should breath more deeply and
feel warmer when you walk
Please choose the grading and length
of time your selected walk takes carefully and according to
your ability. If you are a novice walker please choose MOD 1
or less.
Although we do attempt to keep to the timing, a degree of
flexibility is needed. Stops for coffee are usually half and
hour. All ages can participate in Healthy Walks, but a
parent or carer must supervise walkers under 14.
No dogs unless stated otherwise
except assistance dogs; they must be kept on a lead.
Be sure to wear suitable clothing and footwear,
also bring some drinking water.

Music as its members prepare for two
sizzling summer concerts to be performed
as part of the prestigious Esher Music
Festival in June.
Having just recorded their first ever
CD, the well-renowned Elmbridge
Community Big Band and Elmbridge Choir
are thrilled to have been invited to
provide the Festival’s musical finale.
On Saturday 25th June Elmbridge Choir
will treat its audience to a cocktail of
cool and refreshing tunes with
‘Midsummer Melodies’, a mix of some
contemporary and some familiar songs –
all with fresh musical arrangements.
