The well loved panto, Dick
Whittington, will be performed at Walton Playhouse on the 8th, 9th
and 10th of Jan 2010 by the Desborough Players. |

The panto follows the story
of Dick on his way to London Town and in between fighting the King
Rat, accusations and a shipwreck, Dick still finds time to fall in
love with the lovely Alice Fitzwarren, with his faithful Tom cat.

With the success of last
year, this one is not one to be missed. Every year the Desborough
Players strive to perform an amazing pantomime, with the last being
Cinderella and the standards are set high for this one. |

Taking the title role of
Dick Whittington will be Victoria Platt, who we last saw in
Cinderella as Prince Charming, along with the beautiful Alice
Fitzwarren being played by Charlotte Cairns- who out on a fantastic
performance as Cinderella. |

Filled with
spectacular songs and dancing, this family fun panto is guaranteed
to have you up on your feet- oh yes you will! |

Desborough Players

The Desborough Players were formed in 1946 by
the members of the Weybridge Ladies and Gentlemen's Rowing Club.
They wanted something to do in the winter months. |
