Group |
| The British Chambers
of Commerce has been commissioned by the
Government Equalities Office to write and develop
a series of short business guides that aim to
provide SMEs with a short overview of what they
need to know about the Equality Act 2010 and offer
a signposting service to help a business identify
issues that they may need to address. |
| As part of that work,
Surrey Chambers of Commerce want to run a focus
group to get feedback from small businesses on the
first drafts of the guides (e.g. do they make
sense, is there anything else which those
businesses think would be worth including that we
haven't touched on, what other issues are they
facing which may be of relevance to the guides
etc). We need a minimum of 10 businesses (maximum
of 13) to take part in the focus group. The group
will be chaired by the British Chambers of
Commerce. |

| There are a couple of
restrictions that apply on the businesses for the
consultation: |
| No HR companies or
employment law businesses |
Must have less than 50
employees as we are looking to engage with "core"
SME's |
| No government bodies or
public sector |
