TILL THE RIVERS CEASE TO FLOW
Elmbridge Choir and members of Elmbridge
Community Big Band will perform a unique
musical drama on June 4th and 5th at
Cleves School in Weybridge, starting at 8pm.
‘Till the Rivers Cease to Flow’ has been
written especially for Elmbridge Choir by
playwright Richard Conlon, with music by Sarah
Fisher. This original piece is a performance
unlike anything Elmbridge has seen before.
Drawing on the real-life memories and
experiences of Elmbridge residents it takes
the rivers as its central inspiration.
The two year project is part of a
county-wide programme called Creative
Communities which has been funded by Surrey
Arts Partnership and Arts Council, developed
and delivered by Farnham Maltings and
Tandridge Leisure.
Entrance is free,
but tickets must be booked in advance at
www.elmbridgemusic.co.uk/tickets or
by calling 0844 665 2525. |
