Festive & Come Along to the Queens Road Xmas
Shopping Night!
On Thursday 1st
December the shops in Queens Road are opening late
and there will be lots of Christmas activities and
fun.
A great
opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and
support your local traders.
The Christmas
lights will be turned on by Celebrity Max Clifford
at 7.30pm. You can
enjoy the Weyward Singers & Frends Choir singing Christmas Carols and
other festive songs around the tree.
There will be
competitions and prizes - fun for all ages so you
can bring the kids along with you.
From 7pm the Dry Cleaning
Centre will have a Santa's Grotto, with 2 elves
assisting!
The nominated charity for
the raffle and other fundraising at the event is the local
Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge.
Raffle prizes include a pair
of tickets to the Jonathan Ross show on ITV (filming
in January) and a voucher for a cut & colour at the
Leo Bancroft Oatlands Weybridge hair salon.
Also a full valet
& paint detailing of your car by NT Automotive worth
over £200. Or you could win a HTC tablet computer or
Sony Digital photo frame. Even a chiropractic
consultation in the draw!
The
Weyward singers will be joined by friends to form a
choir providing festive music
There will be
Christmas food & drink, great gift ideas and a
Christmas flower show. Some 'Weybridge Village'
traders will be participating in a 20% discount
offer! Also wine tasting and Champagne, mulled wine
& mince pies!!
The church will
be open from 7-8 pm for this special event and there
will be Christmas music playing and hot chocolate
served in the church porch to add to the Christmas
festivities.

Walk
Healthy Walks are a round
the year programme of walks that provide an
enjoyable way to improve your health and fitness.
Participants are encouraged to walk briskly. For
health benefits you should breath more deeply and
feel warmer when you walk
Please choose the grading and length
of time your selected walk takes carefully and according to
your ability. If you are a novice walker please choose MOD 1
or less.
Although we do attempt to keep to the timing, a degree of
flexibility is needed. Stops for coffee are usually half and
hour. All ages can participate in Healthy Walks, but a
parent or carer must supervise walkers under 14.
No dogs unless stated otherwise
except assistance dogs; they must be kept on a lead.
Be sure to wear suitable clothing and footwear,
also bring some drinking water.

Toddlehop - Great Fun For Kids In Chertsey

In order to make
sure all Toddlehoppers can be as involved as
possible, there will be a maximum of 12
places per session.

3 Sessions
on Thursdays at the following times:
9:30–10:15am,
10:30–11:15am, 2:00–2:45pm
Bouncy Fun:
As part of the toddlehop
session there will be a 15 min bouncy castle session at
the end of the show

The centre-piece of our
Christmas programme, as always, will be our Christmas
Concert at St James' Church in Weybridge, which this year is
on Friday 9th December.
Once again we will be joined
by the choir of St James C of E Primary School and popular
guest soloist Liz Westaway.
Our other yuletide engagements included our now
traditional sing at
M&S / Tesco Brooklands for 'Save the Children' on
Saturday morning 10 December.

We hold four Antique and
Fine Art sales each year
and fifteen sales of Victorian and later furnishings.
Viewing (week of auction):
All
auctions are normally held
on a Wednesday commencing at 10.30,
with public viewing on the previous
Monday from 10am - 5 pm
and Tuesday from 10 am - 8 pm
The choir will hold their annual Christmas Concert - led by
Christine Best and accompanied by Emma Hawksley - singing
popular Christmas songs and traditional carols. The choir
will be joined by local musician and composer Gareth Giles
who will entertain the audience with beautiful Christmas
music on the piano/organ.

Wey Voices Christmas
Concert in aid of Woking Hospice
Performing a blend of traditional
European Carols together with some 16th and
17th century pieces combined with some more
"merry" numbers like "Let it snow" and "Deck
the halls".
There will be a guest
appearance from the popular saxophone group
the Four Five Sax.
Entry to the
concert is free. Refreshments will be
provided.
Wey Voices have raised over
£1,000.00 from recent concerts for
Woking Hospice and hope this concert will be
as successful.
Rock 'n' Roll
Paradise brings to life the giants of the rock 'n'
roll years. Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee
Lewis, Roy Orbison, Eddie Cochran and The Big
Bopper, backed by a superb band, will have
you up on your feet dancing in the aisles to the
music we all know and love. Prepare to rock your
socks off as the best rock 'n' roll show comes to
