Even people who
have lived in Weybridge for many years couldn't tell you
where to find The Prince of Wales - despite it having been
here for 150 years! Tucked away off
the beaten track in Oatlands Village, it's a welcome blend
of traditional English pub and unpretentious restaurant
serving tasty home-cooked food which goes far beyond the
typical pub fare. It is owned by Brian and Pat Ford, who are
always there and are very much "hands-on".
Upon entering the cosy bar areas you are greeted by a
roaring log fire (in the Winter) and a range of beverages
only a genuine Free House can provide. Five cask ales are on
offer, which should satisfy even the most discerning real
ale drinker. |
