About The Artist
Ron Buchanan has had no formal art training, but has been drawing compulsively since infancy. He started to paint about forty years ago when he sold two pictures at a local art society exhibition, and has been painting and selling pictures as an amateur ever since. He recently retired from his 'day job' and has hopes to paint more professionally.

Ron paints anything and everything, but the bulk of his work has been landscapes and city scapes. Usually limited scenes with figures rather than grand vista. Boats, seascapes, beach and river scenes also. Anything with water!
