About The Artist
I am largely self-taught, starting with water colour and found I could produce some pleasing work, I even sold some pieces for charity!.
I have also worked with acrylics, which I like a great deal. I have experimented with abstract work as well as symbols and a piece inspired by Aboriginal art. These are shown in the acrylic section  of my website and are for sale. Recently I found that pastel is a medium that I enjoy working with.
I have to say a big 'Thank you' to Vivien Walters. I booked a place on one of her Pet Portrait courses in summer 2009, little knowing what the result would be. I am so pleased with the results that I have had some images produced as prints and offer these for sale.
My first commission was Dylan who is a very active dog and difficult to photograph so a biscuit was used to focus his attention. It is entitled 'Is that for me?'
I display my original works and have selected some to offer for sale as signed prints.
The prints are sold with a backing card and mount ready for framing. Please take a look in my gallery (both on the Surrey Artists site and my website Art By Susi )and see for yourself
