RHS Wisley Opening Times

Wisley is open all year except Christmas Day.

March to October: Monday to Friday: 10am - 6pm | Saturday and Sunday: 9am - 6pm

November – February: Monday to Friday: 10am - 4.30pm | Saturday and Sunday: 9am - 4.30pm

The garden opens at 9am on Bank Holidays.

Last admission is one hour before closing.

Travel to RHS Wisley Garden

Travelling to RHS Wisley Garden by Car

Wisley garden is situated between Cobham and Ripley near Woking in Surrey. It is accessed off the main London - Guildford - Portsmouth road (A3) south of Junction 10 of the M25 motorway (and very close to that motorway junction).

Follow the brown tourist flower signs on the A3 and M25 to RHS Garden.

515 Bus

RHS Wisley Bus

Take the Wisley Bus from Woking Surrey Railway Station in the summer. The Wisley Bus ran on Monday to Friday (including Bank Holidays) from Monday 28 April to Friday 26 September 2008. The 2009 arrangements are likely to be similar

Fares Guideline: £2.50 adult, £1 child each way, payable to the bus driver (based on info in 2008)

The RHS Wisley Bus left Woking Railway Station at 11.15am in 2008 and the pickup point at Woking Station is at the Wisley Bus Stop on Station Approach (south side of the station).

Have an enjoyable day out at Wisley and then catch the return bus. Based on 2008 timetable, It leaves Wisley at 4.40pm to return to Woking Surrey Railway Station.

The bus will have 'Wisley Gardens' written on it.

Discounted RHS Wisley entry for Wisley Bus users:
Visitors who produce their train or bus ticket on the day of their visit will gain entry at the Group Rate.

Travelling to RHS Wisley Garden by Train

The closest rail stations are West Byfleet Surrey (3 miles) or Woking Surrey (4 miles). Weybridge Rail Station is also an option. It is slightly further than West Byfleet but it has a good taxi rank.

Train passengers to Woking can take taxis to RHS Garden Wisley from the Taxi rank. There is also the RHS Wisley Bus service if you can coincide your journey with the time of the daily bus (see above).

The Train service to Woking Surrey is very regular and it has many fast trains. If travelling from London many fast trains go non-stop to Woking or with just one or two stops. There are others which stop at the various stations on route, including at West Byfleet Rail Station.

If travelling via West Byfleet Rail Station

There are no taxis on standby at West Byfleet. An alternative is Weybridge Rail Station which has a good taxi rank.

Discounted entrance to RHS Wisley

In 2008, there was an offer for visitors who produced their train or bus ticket on the day of their visit to gain entry at the Group Rate, so check on the day if this applies and you could save on the price of your entrance to the gardens.

An inexpensive option to travel between Woking Rail Station & London Heathrow Airport is the National Express coach service. Alternatively you may wish to hire a car. Jacques Cann of Weybridge is a family run company that has built its reputation on the finest quality products and friendly knowledgeable staff. We have always aimed to supply unusual, well crafted items at affordable prices.

The business has been trading since 1964, offering landscaping and maintenance services and fully insured tree surgery.

This was then complimented by the purchase of the garden centre in July 1978. The garden centre grew quickly offering only first class plants and shrubs in a large selection of sizes through to semi-mature shrubs and trees.

The large stock is ideal for many gardeners to create their dream garden without having to wait for many years to see a beautiful level of maturity.

We have always had a keen interest in topiary and have a range second to none, with small topiary for beginners through to large exotic elephants!

The nursery used to grow more of its stock from seeds and cuttings, but with the huge diversity of specialist growers available, we can now offer a wider selection of bedding plants from independent growers, with seasonal changes.
