Through clear forms and clean, simple lines Carola Eckrodt formulates a new purism, while reduced colours such as white combined with pastel shades and brown tones confer a certain lightness and freshness of line.

Timeless minimalism, which lends itself to more versatile combination with a wide range of outfits.

As always only the finest, carefully-tested materials where selected for the collection, among them mother-of-pearl, crystal, opal glass shimmering acrylic and hand-worked glass, thus guaranteeing the unremittingly high quality standards that customers all round the world are accustomed to from our products. Here too, then, we are adopting a wholly classical stance this year.

How to give colours freedom while captivating eyes.

Combining colours and shapes with another in a new and unusual manner ideally leads to an object attracting everyone's attention. It was this way of thinking that inspired Carola and Nils Eckrodt to start creating designer jewellery for women some 15 years ago.

Back then, when the hedonistic spirit of the eighties was wafting through clubs to the music of Anne Clark, Depeche Mode and New Order, the first Coeur de Lion collection was born: necklaces and earrings made of industrial parts and production waste.

Later the collections became more minimalist and colourful.

 Those who have browsed in the museum shops of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts or the Chicago Art Institute in the past few years, are familiar with the Geo Cube collection, for instance, made of multicoloured steel and anodised aluminium, for which Coeur de Lion has meanwhile become known throughout the world.
