Grove Garage of Weybridge, off Princes
Road, in Grove Place is just down the side of the Jolly
Farmer pub. Established for some 40 years (formerly known as
Greyhound Garage), it is now run by Alexander Abadzis, a
long established Citroen Peugeot specialist, who took it over
in 2000 from Sid Sillience. |

Alex, although a French car fanatic, services all makes of
vehicles, carries out MOT prep work, welding, cam belts,
clutches, batteries, exhausts, and well, just about anything
to do with motor vehicles. |

Hollywood Film Work - Charlie & The
Chocolate Factory |

Because of his expertise, during the
summer of 2004, he had the good fortune to work alongside
Art Director Stuart Rose on the Hollywood remake of the film
'Charlie & The Chocolate Factory', with Jonny Depp as 'Wonka',
directed by Tim Burton. This involved supplying and
co-ordinating 108 cars, trucks and motorcycles for the
Action Vehicle Department.
Filming took place at Pinewood Studios
and the film was premiered in late July 2005. |
