Return of Walton / Weybridge Organist
The Charity of Robert Phillips has given a grant to Walton and Oatlands Choral Society for their next concert - Handel’s Messiah - so that they could invite a former local musical director of St Mawes School, Weybridge, and a former conductor of the choir, to play the organ for the concert. He is none other than Mr William Hayward, who has been greatly missed since he moved to Shrewsbury in 1995.
Many old friends and fans will want to hear him and our young local trumpeter Phil Singleton. The soloists are Fiona O’Neil, Alison Renvoize, Gavin Sayers and Simon Lobelson.
