Lottie & Thomas was
conceived as a result of my
own experience of High
Street shopping with a
newborn. After my son Thomas
was born, shopping
immediately became a
stressful experience for me,
with inaccessible shops and
a severe lack of facilities
for mums and babies. I also
became very disillusioned
with the choice and quality
of children’s clothes on
offer: I didn’t necessarily
want my newborn son to be a
fashion trendsetter,
however, I did want to
purchase good quality,
value-for-money clothes,
that weren’t covered in
logos and branding – and the
choice was very limited.
So, with loads of ideas and
enthusiasm – and a strong
desire not to return to a
full-time career in the City
– Lottie & Thomas was born.
