At St Mary Oatlands - In Aid Of
Sjogren's Syndrome Charity |

My wife, Anne Elizabeth Campbell died almost exactly one
year ago, aged just 60. She had suffered for several years
from a debilitating autoimmune condition called Sjogren's
Syndrome. Whilst not the direct cause of her death, it was a
significant, contributory factor. |
|
In her memory, my daughter Emily and I are organising a
choral concert (music Anne really loved) at St Mary Oatlands,
Weybridge, The programme will include works by Byrd, Brahms,
Gibbons and others, culminating in a performance of the
Faure Requiem. |

The choir are all professional singers drawn from
members of 'The 16', 'The Gabrieli Consort', 'Tenebrae','The
Monteverdi Choir' and both the English and Welsh National
Operas. |
|
The performance is to be conducted by David Clegg, a
world renowned counter tenor. It promises to be a wonderful
evening. |
|
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the British
Sjogren's Syndrome Association (BSSA), the charity which
supports those who have to endure this incurable condition. |

About The Charity
Sjögren's Syndrome is an autoimmune disease which
affects approximately 0.5 million people in the UK. It is a
condition where the body’s immune system starts attacking
parts of the body instead of fighting infection, this is
mainly the white cells, which travel in the blood stream. |
