Oatlands Scout Group

Beavers Cubs Scouts Explorer Network Fellowship - Walton & Weybridge District (including Hersham & Oatlands Scouts)

Oatlands Scouts

The Group takes boys and girls into all of our sections.

We have Beavers for the 6 – 8 years olds, Cubs 8 to 10 ½ years olds and Scouts 10 ½ to 14 years olds.

We also have a partnership with Badgers Explorer Scouts who are based at our HQ and are for 14 to 18 year olds.

Beavers Cubs Scouts Explorer Network Fellowship - Walton & Weybridge District (including Hersham & Oatlands Scouts)

Once you turn 18 many Scouts stay on to help lead in different ways. The activities are different for each age range but involve camping, days out, helping other people and really having fun with friends.

A chance to be part of Scouting in Walton, Weybridge, Hersham & Oatlands

We are also looking to adults to help in any small way they can to give young people this great opportunity. Can you spare a couple of hours a month to get involved. You don’t have to work with the children to help – can you fix a tent, help fund raise or put together a newsletter?

We can use your skills for the good of the community...

All sections need your help - Beavers, cubs, scouts, explorer, network & fellowship.

Yes - we are all volunteers!

We give up varying degrees of our spare time to promote and support the aspirations of the youth in our community.

Through a balanced programme of badgework, challenges, initiatives, residential experiences and work in the community, our children can have a lot of fun whilst making a good base for their future life, as well as everlasting friendships.

Adult Helpers - Sample Roles
